Pilot Tests Complete

5th January 2010

The pilot tests for the Seaweed experiment have finished. Lots of rich data was successfully recorded, and plenty of positive feedback was collected.

Many glitches / quirkes were discovered by the participants in both the Seaweed API and wordpress plugin, but nothing major went wrong. All issues have been addressed.

Several new enhancements have been implemented to improve the plugin - which where suggested by the participnts. Two common enhancements suggested were the ability to edit images/captions and the ability to move the control panel around.

There were lots of little issues with the running of the pilot test itself - however overall the test was a success, and after all it was a pilot, not the real thing. The full scale study is due to start within the next few days.
